We are pleased to announce that by the decision of the board of the third edition of Model Eco-tourism Event on Green routes - Greenways competition in 2010, December festival "Angel in Town " won the first prize. It was organized by the Ecological and Cultural Association "On the Amber Trail" in Lanckorona on 11-12 December 2010, on the Amber Trail Greenways.Organization of the winning party will be co-financed in the amount of 10,000 zł.

Every year, "angels set off to the world with winter greetings"- it is a tradition of Christmas wishes, spread by youngsters from Lanckorona schools to the residents.

" The first "Lanckorona Angel" honored in 2004, was a well-known artist, painter, set designer, co-founder of "Piwnica pod Baranami" (Cellar Under the Rams), a longtime resident of Lanckorona - Kazimierz Wisniak.

The event is accompanied by a number of workshops and a lot of fun. The workshop "Give an Angel to Your Loved One" are conducted by both professional artists and amateurs. The unique atmosphere of the "Angel in Town " festival is created by the exhibitors who come here from all the parts of Poland enchanting the public with their craft and, above all, the Angels made with different techniques.
During this year's seventh edition of the event, the organizers intend to carry out the Angelic Quest (hiking with puzzles) associated with selected stops in Lanckorona Ecomuseum.
